How about the Phillips 66 Conference? They already have a relationship with the Big 12 for basketball. The problem is that the don't sell Phillips 66 in lots of the Big 12 footprint, I does make sense for one reason. You are going to burn a lot of gasoline travelling to Big 12 games.
It would be very hard to be a Telsa owner and a fan of a Big 12 school. If you are a Big 12 student athlete, you will be spending a lot of time changing planes.
No worries:
DFW is an American Airlines hub
Phoenix is a major Southwest operation and American Airlines hub
Salt Lake City is a Delta airlines hub
Orlando is a major Delta operation
Cincinnati is a Delta hub
Pittsburgh is an American Airlines/Southwest/Southern Airways express host
Houston you already know about
Kansas City? American, Delta and Southwest
In the Big 12, we are ready to move about the country!
