Here is what I envision….

The State of Texas becomes the State of Florida from the 1990's.

The Aggies fire Jimbo and bring in a young offensive mastermind as coach. Both schools continue to recruit lights out - as they should with their built in advantages. The Longhorns continue to improve. The Aggies, with the talent already on campus, become great overnight. The Longhorns and Aggies win like the Gators and Seminoles did back then. Everyone from every other state hates and resents the State of Texas for their dominance in college football. A minimum 4 national championships are won between the 2 schools in a ten year span.

Texas and A&M still hate each other, but develop a mutual respect for each other. Every loss is not blamed on the refs, and everyone accepts that cheating is not the reason for these two schools' dominance. The State of Texas- one of the freest states in the country- is the common trait that binds the two schools and propels them to greatness.

And the BigXII will become the dominant Texas conference. Instead of watching Texas schools play out of state schools except for one game a year, the BigXII solidifies Texas rivalries and will flourish with true Texans.

It appears the Ags are going to keep jumbo for at least another year. The worst case scenario for Aggie fans is they win out this year and give him another raise and extension.

Has it ever been looked into or researched that the Texas A&M Athletic Director just might be a super secret burnt orange sleeper agent for 'Sip'?

I'm both an outsider and biased but I think a pretty good case could be made..............just sayin'.

So for the past 10+ years Texas has been reaching through the cosmos across confrence lines and has somehow 'undercut and backstabbed' A&M's success in the SEC?

I thought we accepted the invitation to join the SEC solely so we could more efficiently 'undercut, backstab, and lie in order to keep (A&M) from having a modicum of success' but since we've been doing it successfully while still in the Big 12......why even bother???

I suspect Horns sniffed what a huge loss it has been not to travel to hot spots like Starkville or Columbia SC.
