Kyler Murray seems confused on the subject:

https://www.si.com/college/tamu/news/tamu-texas-am-aggies-kyler-murray-arizona-cardinals-oklahoma-sooners-spring-game-watch

"And when addressing a group of Sooner fans at the Oklahoma spring game on Saturday, Murray took a shot at the Aggies, labeling them as a mistake.

"'This place means the world to me. I told everybody last night, I had a rocky start to my college career,' Murray said to the crowd. 'I chose the wrong school. As soon as I stepped on campus, I texted my pops I told him, "I should've been here the whole time."'"

Once, again, an extremely weak attempt on your part- but as we have all learned, that is all you are capable of doing.
Kyler was a tremendous athlete. He was a cancer in the locker room, he pouted, created a big riff with his attitude, etc. (which we saw the last two seasons at Az). He once told a coach on the sideline to F off when told to go into the game- he never played again. He is a perfect representative of mobilehoma.

So what you're saying is "Once an Aggie, always an Aggie" is a false statement.

But we don't have that saying. We come from all over the place to attend school, get our degree/s, then spread out over the world and conquer. We have fond memories of our school and are thankful for the opportunities it's given us, but it doesn't become part of our DNA. This "Once a..." seems to be an Aggie mantra, though.

Right....yours is something like "once you have Raider Rash, you'll always have Raider Rash."

A friend of mine who used to play for A&M in the late 90s/early 00s under Slocum, and was still connected to program, told me that both the football team and baseball team had packed up Murray's locker and that he was hated.

I heard the football team did that while his dad was trying to hold Sumlin "hostage"- the story I've heard from more than one person was Kevin wanted to participate in the hiring process for the new OC, wanted him to host (read pay for) his QB school using University facilities, etc. this went on for a couple of days. When they came out of Bright, Kyler's stuff was in a couple of boxes on the sidewalk.

Wasn't there, but folks I respect told the story.

Are we talking about Kyler Murry or Baker Mayfield?

Biggest mistake we ever made was signing that little punk. He DELIBERATELY told Kyle Allen he was staying so he would jump into portal first, then jumped his scared little ass too.

i have no problem with a kid going somewhere and realizing it was a mistake. But, Murray is a chip off the old block of his dad. Kevin Murray was an entitled ******* and raised a son that is an entitled *******.

Something that you literally never hear about Red Raider grads… "they spread out over the world and conquer."

They do spread out and spread STDs though. I'm guessing they are playing up to their strengths?

I disagree, Kyler was an Ag. Sorry he didn't love it and glad he ended up happy at Blow U. I'll always appreciate him choosing the good guys. What a crazy recruitment that was, and if you recall tu was the other option at the time. Would have been a gut punch to see a legacy tear it up at tu.

I just wish we hadn't done Kyle Allen so dirty to placate him

Speaking of stupidity... you have to be mighty stupid not to be able to understand the concepts of ideals and codes of conduct.

Ideals and codes are not affected when a person violates them. HTH.
