More money than the Vatican - rich af - but it'll cost in the neighborhood of $13 million to fire Smart. That's the better part of a tennis center.

Can Texas afford to keep paying people not to work? Mack Brown, Charlie Strong, Rick Barnes, Augie Garrido, Steve Patterson, Vince Young - gotta be getting old.

If Texas athletic director Chris Del Conte is concerned about finding the money necessary to fire Shaka Smart, he can always raise the funds through the sale of roster spots on the Texas men's tennis team. After all, there is precedence and it is quite lucrative.

In a parting note - this shirt cost $5 but about $63 million to fire everyone on this shirt.

When they fire Shaka or rather RE-assign him to purgatory they can strike through smart and strong and put "NOT" TEXAS then sell the shirt for $ 15 to recoup the 63 million!

BTW. Cris Brown said Shaka is good for another year!!

Actually he is good thru 2022-23. That's 4 more years at over 3,000,000 a year. Plus 100,000 guaranteed raise every year. He is not going anywhere anytime soon!

Doubtful. He just won the NIT last year. Ironic that the bdf had to have the Iowa state rout of tu on tv instead of the WVU/bu game. Great look for Iowa state not so much for tu, which should have been on LhN!
