I said it in the other thread, but WatchOle does not deserve any grief over this. Everything I know about Brandon is that he is a good Christian man who tries to do the best job he can and he treats others accordingly. Sometimes being an upstanding guy allows others take advantage of that nature, but I don't see that Brandon has done anything wrong here, certainly not intentionally. Like it or not.
For those who have complained about anonymous mods, I get it, but I think keeping them anonymous is the best thing to do. They may need some more oversight, but I still think they should be anonymous. I do think they should let posters know why they are given timeouts. I have been banned A LOT of times in 15+ years of posting here. Most of those have been well-deserved, but I know some were because of who I challenged or what I said, not that I violated any rules. Like some others, I quit paying for stars because of poor and inconsistent moderation.
I say all of this as a "guest" here...a Longhorn who has enjoyed the banter and live information of this community for a long, long time. I have made a lot of internet friends here, including jorts, and I appreciate the outlet that Texags is for so many people. I sincerely hope Damon can find the help he needs, and I hope people can sympathize that Brandon and Texags were caught off-guard by this as much as anyone who was victimized financially.
