Dunno. Tech fans want him replaced.

But it would cost Tech $6.7M to buy out his contract...though presumably that nbr would be decreased by whatever salary he earns in his next coaching gig as a sought-after OC.

Interesting aspect of Kliff's future career path:

-- if he gets fired by Tech and then goes to a good P5 program as an OC, and stays put for 3 years, and knocks it out of the park as OC and QB coach, he'll quickly be a P5 head coach again. And likely it will be at a lot better program than Lubbock Tech.

Kliff is a career OC, and a potential great. He just DGAF about defense. It was wired in him by Leach, and is showing now. Even more importantly though, who TF wants to go to Lubbock???

last night's win meant that Tech won back-to-back games in Austin (2015 & 2017)...for the first time ever. Ever.

and the teams started playing in 1934
