He is the one person I would call an internet badass and mean it a sincere compliment. I have no doubt he was a real world badass too. I'd say RIP but given his personality he's staying busy making sure any sip or tard who snuck into heaven regrets it for the rest of eternity.

Walter was a proud member of the Tarrant County A&M Club, the 12th Man Foundation and the A&M Association of Former Students. He loved fighting Nazis and bashing in heads of unsuspecting tards and sips on Old Rivalries on TexAgs. He was a registered Texas Professional Engineer. Walter and his wife, Carla, loved traveling, especially cruising. They had visited four continents. He enjoyed being a private pilot and membership in the Experimental Aircraft Association. Walter was predeceased by his parents; his son, Rusty; and grandson, Jeremy. Dang, I bet I met this man. My granddad went from the Army Air Corps to spending 45 years at the Consolidated/General Dynamics/Lockheed plant in Ft Worth. They retired around the same time.

I wish I'd have had the chance to meet 44 face to face. He seems like the cream of the crop of the greatest generation, someone the world is a little less great without.

Saddest part about all this is not just him passing... it's that this current generation knows nothing about the greatest generation of our countries time. Sad indeed.
