After checking my calculator and running the numbers several times, I count eight (8) actual tsips so far.

BBA '96. We won are only big 12 title during my graduation procession (well technically the game was won 10 minutes later). My graduation gift from my roommate is a beer mug that reads "Poooooor Huskers". Who knew that it would be a sign of things to come in the UT vs NU series.

I guess we might take a thread like this more seriously if the Blinn matriculee Not-S*** didn't dominate the thread.

FWIW for the rookies, I was registered for all fall, spring, and summer semester at UT from 9/59 until 1/62. I accumulated 38 credit hours while gaining a wealth of experience in wenching, drinking, gambling, hunting and fishing.

I spent no time at LeTourneau or Blinn.

I in NO WAY agree that a degree makes you more or less of a fan; many people's circumstances preclude them going away to college or going to college at all. If you are a loyal fan in good times and bad, cheer and support, maybe give a little $$ if your finances permit, then you are a good fan of that team.
All this 'gotta have a degree/how long did you attend' - type qualifications are bogus.

I have 2 degrees from Texas and I agree with Rhino.

As long as you support your team in the bad times, you are not a bandwagon fan. I was a Texas fan long before darkening the doors because I loved Earl Campbell when I was little (he was with the Oilers at the time and is my first memory of football). Boy, did i suffer through some years in Junior High and High school!

For the record, I agree with Rhino as well: as long as you are a true fan, through good times & bad, that's all that matters (even if your team colors are god awfully hideous ).

Bring back the LSU series.
