In all honesty, the only thing UT and TTU have in common is beating the hell outta the Aggies.

I had no knowledge of tech fans until they started posting here. Then they became an annoyance. But it was until halftime of Saturdays Beatdown of the Century that I finally got it -- they've got an inferiority complex so profound, even the TV hairdos could figure it out.

Now I understand. So we have to pretend to pay attention to them until they feel good about themselves. Then, maybe they'll move on.

Or you could just try and win a game vs. tech on the field, that might help your cause.

Whatever not-a-sip. I enjoy talking football with aggies. They're alot more knowledgeable than most of the other fan bases. As far as an inferiority complex, I guess some people see it that way. I know the ags have better facilitiers, more money, and higher rated recruits. Doesn't bother me at all. Especially when we can overcome all of those "disadvantages" on a consistent basis. I honestly think this advantage/disadvantage phenomenon should upset the Ags more than us.

Well, it's not like he can talk smack about sports.

NOTICE OF REVOCATION OF RIVAL STATUS ISSUED BY TEXAS TECH!!! -AP

Ar 12:50am Sunday Texas Tech University formally issued the revocation of rival status to A&M for failing to meet the minimum performance requirements that are generally required with rivalries.

The revocation papers were served to Coach Fran during his post game press conference while he was explaining how "the refs conspired to take 4 touchdown and 1 fieldgoal opportunity from the Aggys that would have enabled them to tie the game and send the game into overtime."

Coach Fran stumbled and toppled over the microphone when he was explaining why his defense could not stop a "gimmick offense" that pasted him for 59pts in the worst loss since Bear Bryants Junction Boys.

The national media, Aggy players, and their families were shocked at the early Sunday announcement by Texas Tech University officials.

However, little effect will be seen by TexAgs board posters due to their failure to recognize the existance of the rivalry in the first place. This is despite the National Media, Aggy players and most rational Aggy fans referencing the rivalry since the late 80's.

Texas Tech will begin the search for a new rival immediately while the Aggys will be matched with Baylor University as rivals. Their annual game will now be called "Battle of the Doormat of the Brazos" and should provide for more balanced contests for years to come.

Baylor officials accepted the Aggys as rival early Sunday with great reluctance as the downward spiral of A&M seems to speed up. "We can only hope that the utter collapse of Aggy Football begins to level off" said a Baylor University official with guarded optimism.

Unfortunately with UT already being Rivals with OU and the unfortunate lack of competition from anyone else in the state, Texas Tech University will be forced to look outside the state for a new rival.
