The tiebreaker is at this link. In 2001 when we beat the Cards in the final game of the season we were division champs because we won the season series. But last night I heard on the radio that we would have a tiebreaker at Wrigley Field on Mon. the 29th.

It matters not whether the Astros make the playoffs.

Because even if they did, THEY WOULD GO FRIGGIN' O-FER IN THE FIRST FRIGGIN' SERIES.

The Astros are a tease...pure and simple. The sooner you learn this, the better off your stomach will be when you get to be my age.

Clearly based on how far back we are in the wild card, if you call 2 games being far back, we clearly will have a one game playoff.

I don't care if they do go 0'fer in the playoffs. Getting to the playoffs is for the best teams only. If we make it, it shows that we are one of the elite teams. I am a huge Stros fan.

All of these races coming down to the last week is only a ploy by MLB to get fan interest up. It wouldn't surprise me to have both the sCrUBs/'Stros and the Phils/fish finish in ties so there is aone game playoff in both races just for the teams to get more revenue.

If they would learn that they can't compete w/football, and thus move playoff and the world series up so that they end by Sept., then MLB would be in fine shape.

They cannot compete w/football...they somehow haven't grasped that concept yet.

Judging from the huge crowds as recently as last night at the Orange Juice, the fans don't believe there is any hope either. Of course Boston has not won a World Series since 1918 or so and they just clinched. Maybe.....maybe.....
