It's been hard being a Cubs fan over the years; they've finished with a winning record only 6 of the 26 years that I've been alive, and that includes this season. That being said, I cannot bring myself to dislike them. I am a permanent Cubs fan.

I live in Dallas so I pull for Dallas teams. I've always been a Cowboys fan, though. I was never really much of an Astros or Oilers fan, and I am not a Texans fan. I don't dislike the Rockets. Being from South Texas originally, I like the Spurs, but other than that, San Antonio is a non-consideration for me.

Sip1999 - If this poll is merely the result of bandwagon fans, can you tell me why the defending NBA champs are the state's third favorite team, behind a team that has not won a title (yet) and a team that didn't make the playoffs (OK they're tied- but you get the point).

I'm just relieved that Texas A&M is no longer an option or favorite professional football team!
