Actually Paul Thompson has looked great in the limited minutes he has gotten. He has dramatically improved over last season. His passing game and his decision making has really improved. After seeing his improved play, I will not not write off the season if White was to go down. BTW Dub, Jason White has been the best QB thus far. He is even garnering Heisman attention.

Well, allow my "Ag Bash Fest" to extend to an apparent lack of reading comprehension.

I'm not making any comparisons as to quality of opponents (although Arkansas is now #9 in one of the polls) or of quality of losing team, I'm making comparisons as to the competitiveness of each game. This isn't a question of expectations and whether one team or other failed/succeeded in living up to them. I'll grant you that A&M performed better than most would have expected, and that Texas didn't perform as well as most would have expected.

Fact: When a team is down by only one score in the 4th quarter, it only takes one play to create a tie or lead change.

Opinion: A game that could turn around on one play in the 4th quarter is a competitive game.

Opinion: If your opinion differs on the previous statement, then logically you wouldn't find the A&M/Va Tech game to have been competitive.

Opinion: Since you apparently HAVE made the mental divergence to believe one was competitive but the other was "domination", you lack either an ability to reason or an ability to be objective.

Did Arkansas outplay Texas? Absolutely.

Did Arkansas dominate Texas such that there was never any doubt as to the outcome? Objectively no.

Now change Arkansas to Va Tech, and Texas to Texas A&M and it still holds true.
