If I'm going to give someone millions of dollars a year to run a football program, I'm going to conduct an interview, even if we just talk about Kim Kardashian's bulbous ass. Even if, for some reason Nick Saban got a wild hair up his ass and wanted the UF job, he'd meet with their people and do an interview.

My list of legit questions:
1) How much money do you want to be our coach?
2) Can you think of any other perks you might want?
3) How much do you want for your assistant coaches?
4) When can you start?

Can you legally work at what is essentially a state of Texas job?
Have you ever been convicted of a felony?
Does any of your assistant coaches or personal associated with the program rape young boys?

More importantly than BS questions, the interview will give a feel on whether or not the AD and coach have the same vision and can work together.

It wasn't that they just wanted to interview Art. They wanted him to interview and then wait while they interview other candidates and then they'd contact him. That's not how you steal big time coaches from your same conference that have kicked your ass for several years. If he is your top candidate, you do have an interview but with the understanding that the job is his if it goes well...the interview is as much about the coach learning about the AD as it is the other way around.

The sip's arrogance caused them to end up with Chobbit and the reality of that series of events will set in for them over the next year or so.
