Maybe if the Ags throw in another $20 Million then you just might be able to beat Tech.

Only somebody stubbornly clinging to a state of denial thinks Baylor belongs in this conference.

Baylor belongs in a separate conference with SMU, TCU, Rice, Tulsa and Tulane. They would be competitive in most sports, have reasonable travel costs, and mike make it to a minor bowl once in awhile. They'd also have a shot at the automatic bids for conference champs in NCAA tourneys.

I take issue with anyone who says Baylor sucks. They're simply not good enough to suck.

That's okay, because I know what's going on in your head:

You think the world is 5,000 years old, 28=69, and a team that has lost a gazillion times in a row to Daddy A&M including getting stomped 41-0 in the most recent contest is somehow on a par with your DADDY, Texas A&M.

1) In two of your last three games against Daddy you haven't even scored.

2) The combined scores of those games is 81-10.

3) The average score of those games is 27-3.

4) The above was during a down cycle in the A&M program. Recruiting has taken off as the athletic department went on a spending spree for coaches and facilities. It's only going to get worse from here on out.

AGAIN:

Pssst.....you are one of the 5 largest state-funded Universities in the country.

You are in a state where football is religion.

You apparently spend $20 million/year on football, per one of your former players, yet you end up 6-6.

When discussing college football you aren't even a blip on the national radar screen.

When discussing the Big XII and football, all Aggies seem to care about, how often do you read or hear about Texas, OU, Nebraska, K-State......funny, A&M seems to be constantly left out of that mix.

Except when you talk about Big XII titles, Big XII South titles, Lombardi winners, contenders, etc. etc. etc.

Who talks about baylor? Nobody.
