The big xii-ii-ii+ii sucks and all, but what if KSU wins out.

Snyder has done it again. Even though his competition isn't the strongest ever, he has turned KSU into winners. They probably win the rest of their games.

So does KSU get the invite if they win out, or will it be Oregon and Bama?

I know we have a ton of time, but somebody is going to get screwed this season… really believe it will happen.

This conversation comes up every year about this time. The only time three major schools went undefeated was when Auburn got left out. I will be surprised if there are more than two major teams without a loss by the end of the season.

The "How did they do in their championship game?" question will and should come up.

This. Should Oregon win their conference championship game, can you justify giving KSU a shot at the title over them? This is assuming that Oregon, KSU, and possibly even Notre Dame all win out. Think about it. Oregon will likely be playing USC for the conference title. That same week, KSU will be playing the longhorns. I would think you would have to give Oregon the shot over KSU or Notre Dame just for the fact that they played and won their conference championship game.

ksu will be behind an undefeated ND and even a one loss Oregon that wins the pac12 (and probably whoever loses the SEC title game).

No conference title game is going to come back and bite them in the ass, just like last season.

Another problem is that ksu, much like okstate last year, is not much a traditional media darling.

zerOU beats ND this weekend.

U of O will lose to either USC or O state.

or they lose to USC. likely don't get by both.

Oregan has to play @ USC and @ OrSt

i don't think we will have 3 undefeateds. hopefully we will have 2 so we don't have another all SEC championship.

I hope we have 4 or 5 undefeated teams. I hope that:

* Alabama/Florida is undefeated
* Oregon is undefeated
* ND is undefeated
* K St is undefeated
* Loserville is undefeated

I want a bunch of *****ing and whining at the end of the season over how the championship game was selected from 5 undefeated teams. I WANT A PLAY-OFF!

The idiots positing the "if A&M beats LSU, it means the Big 12-2-2+2 is better than the SEC" will breathe a sigh of relief that TCU didn't win.

If there are 3 or 4 undefeated teams at the end of the year, the human polls can only hurt KSU so much without a blatant agenda. There is no way they put KSU any lower than 4 in the human polls, and I would think the computer polls will help them overcome that to get to #2. Sagarin's rankings really like the Big 12.

All that being said, I also don't think we see that happen. I think OU beats ND (a game where I wish they could both lose), I think the Pac will take care of each other, and Snyder's warlock magic has to run out some time, hopefully this weekend.

K ST looks legit to me but unfortunately for them the big xii pos doesn't have Title game anymore. If Oregon goes undefeated too in their season then gets the extra Title win it will most likely put them ahead of K st in the computers. Atleast that's the way I keep seeing and hearing it.

I don't think they have to worry about ND. They will get beat by the sixtoes this weekend, imo.

Oklahoma made it to the MNC after getting the hell stomped out of them in a conference championship game. I know the formula has changed but not that much. A one loss Oregon is not going in ahead of an undefeated KSU. As far as Notre Dame OU is going to beat their brains in this weekend.

Alabama and Florida will not go undefeated. They will have to play each other eventually and they will take care of one another.

The only conference that has a gripe in this is the SEC. There are 3 teams in the SEC that would beat anyone out there but won't go undefeated because they have to play one another. Oregon would be a 3 loss team in the SEC every year.

I don't think a one loss Oregon goes ahead of an undefeated K St either. They are too close in the BCS standing. They are only separated by a few thousands of a point right now. The big pos xii is weak but O doesn't have a lead in the standings like the sixtoes did that year when they lost he title game.

How in God's creaton is the Big 12 weak? We would be getting bet there the same as we are in the SEC, with the only difference being we would never get better.

OU
KSU
tu
tech
TCU
OSU coming on
etc

That is not a weak football conference. OU would beat the pants off of us if we were to play them.

How do you expect we would beat OU with a quarterback that runs around like it is still high school? Yes, he is going to get better and yes when he is a senior we are going to be a force. But in the here and now OU would beat the hell out of us due to the fact they are completely balanced whereas LSU has a quarterback that could not run down the field 40 yards and hand it to a wide open receiver.

With that said I would like to point out some of those pass interference calls against us on Saturday were complete bs. And that ruled non-catch as a freaking catch.
INIGO MONTOYA
How long do you want to ignore this user?
i think you have Alabama - then the rest of the world.

i think KSU, OU, Florida, LSU, USC, and likely Oregon in that bunch are all good - just not Alabama great. Oregon maybe there...out of all those, i think they are likely the best.
Happy Kuykendahl
How long do you want to ignore this user?
ou's defense isn't LSU or Florida caliber, not convinced their offense is that great. We'll see what they do vs. ND.

My God, man. This has been discussed ad nauseum. Simply match up #1 v #1, #2 v #2, etc, and see who would be favored in the games - latest ESPN Power Rankings for seeding:

1. Bama v. KSU
2. Florida v. OU
3. LSU v. Tech
4. Georgia v. WVU
5. MSU v. Texas
6. USC v. TCU
7. A&M V. OSU
8. Ole Miss V. ISU
9. Arkansas v. Baylor
10. Vandy v. Kansas

Pretending like wbt's method was scientific and conclusive, it still in no way means the Big 12 isn't tough. It would only mean the SEC is tougher. Do most of you still honestly believe the Big 10 is tougher than the Big 12 right now?
