Tubs just got a walk-on STUD at Tight End, Bo Whitney, from Hargraves. I know, I know….As Doc has ALWAYS told us, Tech has a Fun ‘n Gun offense that Tubs won’t be changing anytime soon, but, when a talent like this comes along, YOU MUST OFFER.

According to Whitney:
Three catches as a TE….sounds like more of a run blocking specialist. This guys should fit Tub’s Power-I formation to a tee.

“I didn't like the experience too much there,” he said. “I didn't like that military lifestyle. I also had to try out twice before I made the team. I tried out the first time as a quarterback and then the second time as a tight end.”
Once he earned a spot, Whitney said he spent most of the season sharing the field.
“We had other tight ends, so we rotated a lot,” he said. “I probably only had three catches. I did get a little bit of time at quarterback, too, and had a handful of completions, probably four or five.”
