to inform me that i had been admitted to Law School! I hate Tech..bunch of *******s, but Im really happy about this...i cant believe they CALLED me...sorry, not football related, and Im still waiting on UH, and South Texas, and Baylor, but do any Tech law students or grads have any input on their experiences there? Quality of education, jobs, atmosphere, fun, etc...would u go there if u could do it again, etc... Any input would be awesome..sorry about the ramblin'!

Actuallly I wanted to know about job prospects AFTER graduation! Any insight on that? Or any other tips, advice, etc..Isnt the Aggie Law student thing pretty decent? As a law student, how much access will I have to the ladies , (good Lord, those girls are somethin' else!) Cmon, anyone, let me know!

Tell me, is it REALLY HARD to get a job in Houston if you go to Tech? Surely its feasible, I would hope. I just dont want to be stuck out practicing law in West Texas. Dallas is ok I guess, but Houston would be the goal. But really, who the heck knows? A lot of things in life can change in a few years.

It's hard to get a job during this econ climate. I'm at UHLC right now and people that are in the top 15% have had a tough time finding 1L summer clerkships.If you have good business and family connections than you can probably get to Houston, otherwise you're probably effed. EDIT: Unless you're in the top 5%

Houston firms and corporations don't actively recruit tceh law because there are are plenty of UHLC/t.u (and even some stcl) students close by.

Yes, it will be harder to get job in Houston if you went to Tech. Finish in the top 10% and it is easier all around. It is just harder in Houston because STCL and UH are there and the market is filled with thier grads. Congrats and good luck. Work hard and things should turn out fine.

No, they offered me a full ride. I had other offers but I could not pass up this scholarship.
