Doc Brown wouldn't go out that way. Dr. Sam Becket wouldn't let himself be killed in that manner.

Of course it goes without saying that a terminator wouldn't die like that.

Jean-Claude Van Damme doesn't go out like that either... He'd travel even further back and save himself or his family.

I'm beyond perplexed at the concept of time travel, specifically as it relates to changing the course of events, seeing oneself in a different point in time (and the necessity to ensure one never confronts him/herself of universes could explode), and whether it is morally ethical to go back in time for the sole purpose of financial gain (ie - purchasing Google stock or betting on sporting events). I spent years trying to undestand these mysteries by way of Back To The Future 1, 2, 3, and 4, as well as snippets from planet of the Apes (the tv series as well as the original movie and Marky Mark's remake), and am hoping that the Time Travelers Wife puts the final pieces together.

Or I might go see GI Joe again to see the redhead in the tight leather suit. Don't know yet.

Following Muy's thinking, how is time travel supposed to accomodate for the spatial differential? Everything is moving with time. If you go back in time you would presumably stay in the exact same position, which means you very likely arrive at your temporal destination floating out in deep space. Major flaw in chic flick time travel movies.

Oggling hotties in silly action movies is a much better way to spend your time.

Yes, he arrives int he woods seconds before his father-in-law shoots at a moose (or whatever they were hunting). His FIL doesn't know he shot him.
