I grew up listening to Hank Williams,Sr., Hanky-pank Thompson, Kitty Wells, Hank Snow, et al singin' on the radio. You can imagine how much I have to contribute to this thread. Thank the lord for the Country Legends station in Cleveland/Houston and the Time/Life set of about 15 CDs of old country music.

I'm lucky enough to live within listening distance of TWO classic country stations. I like a lot of indie rock, but in lieu of that, classic country is the only thing worth listening to on the radio.

Let me clue YOU in: I was listening to country music before you were born, Brooks and Dunn suck, they had a sort of a country pop hit with neon moon and everything else blows chunks. Actually that song blows too.
