Good Aggie. He would have wanted someone to publish all his trading cards on this thread for all to enjoy one more time.

Gig 'em Aggies!

Dude was incredibly funny, straight up decent and honest, and a man of his word. He was loyal beyond belief.

His writing was the best on the board, which came from his bloodline -- his grandmother won the Pulitzer Prize for local journalism in 1955. Her stories destroyed the Duke of Duval political machine.

He knew all sorts of big cigar guys, at A&M and in San Antonio, but was able to hang with the cholos and vatos when he was around town. He was big in his church and would like to be remembered as the most redass Ag ever.

This ****ing sucks. I'm going to have a really difficult time with this one.

Talked to a class of '85 bud yesterday and he told me about this. Never met him, but from my friends reaction and those of other posters he seems like he was a great guy and Ag.

T&P for his family and friends. What a loss.

Elliot was also my friend off the boards. I was lucky to have met him at several Aggie events, the first time being before the Sweet 16 game in San Antonio a few years ago.

All he did was make people laugh. It almost seemed like his sole purpose. The first time he walked up to RK and I, he said "I finally get to meet the 2 people who I have a shrine up for in my basement." Then he broke into a big ol' contagious laugh.

He would want us to view his handiwork on this site because he brought us so much joy. I personally have never laughed harder at anyone's posts.

I would like to start a scholarship fund for his little girl from all of us. I will provide details later.

Rest in peace, Elliot. Please know that you were loved by everyone on here, certainly by me.

I am in on the scholarship.

Just reading Elliott's obituary tells you what kind of guy he was.

WOW

I never met him, and I feel that was a huge loss for me. He was absolutely one of my favorite posters on the board, somebody whose intelligence and humor were never lacking, somebody who always "got it".

I don't know what else to say.

Agreed Pete. Everyone should be proud of a guy like Elliot representing Texas A&M and his bravery serving our country. I had the pleasure of meeting Elliot as well, and he is one of the funniest, nicest individuals I've ever met. His personality on the boards was just how he was in real life.

He most certainly did have this knack
