Currently have USAA but moving soon and wanting to shop around for best rates.

What are some good ones to look into?

1) Find an independent agent in your area, they can shop several carriers on your behalf.
2) Don't be afraid to solicit direct writers, State Farm for example.
3) Maybe there is a mutual company in your area? If the loss experience is good, most mutuals will return a percentage of your premium.

I left USAA years go, since have been with Federal National, Allstate & State Farm. Claim experience with Allstate was below average. Typically but not always having your homeowners and auto coverage with one carrier provides a discount. Party on!!!
