My loan officer is waiting for a client to show his DD214 paperwork and we've been waiting for months. He lost it and supposedly submitted a request to the VA ages ago... but says they still haven't mailed it out.

a) how long does this usually take?
b) is there a way to expedite this?

Does he need an official form or just a copy? They should be able to get a pdf of it here.

This is why you file your DD-214 in the county clerk's office. You can always get a certified copy if you lose the original. .

yeah, the buyer said the VA wouldnt do e-docs. and that they requested in October.

but they may have their certificate of eligibility at home, so that could save us.
