up. We live in Alabama, so our local attorney can't help

I'm no help on this one. Let's see if someone comes up with a known referral. If not contact the title company you closed with and ask them for one. If you pan to transfer ownership to your son you will need their help anyway. Assuming you were satisfied with their service. If not find another one.
