Anyone on here know where I can get comps for my hearing with Appraisal district. In CS, my new market value is absurd...

Do you know any local realtors? They could pull them. Or if not you could hire an appraiser for a comp report

You can also review listings and sales on sites like Zillow. Additionally, I suggest reviewing CAD values of other properties similar to yours and in same neighborhood - or close. If your current tax value is higher in comparison to others, this will definitely support your case. Good luck

The appraisal district is required to provide the comps they used prior to the hearing. Generally they will provide the whole list of MLS comps they are using as well as some other pieces of data. Most of the time they can't make a compelling case with their own data.

ask them for the sales grid value,
it's always lower.
