Can you personally sue an appraisal district chief appraiser?

I am just wondering if there are any attorneys on Texags that may know more about this. Seems like there is some 2022 case law out of Falls county that may have cleared the way for this:

That seems wild and a great way to have no one take the job. There is a point that leads an even less functioning government than we already have which is terrifying.

Not exactly wild when you deal with an appraisal district office that cannot explain their computer generated data. That's negligent. Negligence should be sue-able.

Sue the county, CAD, etc. Don't think sueing an individual personally is the right way to go. Too much frvelous civil litigation as it is.

That case is out of Waco. Take it with a trainload of salt.

That's not negligence. That is an intentional act of omission to not do your job properly.

To be fair, I'm not sure even the builders of mass appraisal software can adequately explain it.
