June 15th, 22nd, and 29th
9:00 AM until 12:00 PM
Join us for a morning of fun to start your weekend! We'll have a variety of yard and board games, a guided activity or craft, hourly nature walks, and hands-on fun at the farm to get your hands dirty! There's plenty of space to run and lots of fresh air, so bring your friends and family to enjoy the summer.
This event is FREE, but we do need you to RSVP!

Gardening 101: Weed Management

Take control of your garden's weed problem the natural way with our Organic Weed Management 101 class at The Farm at Millican Reserve. This workshop is ideal for gardeners who want to manage weeds without the use of harsh chemicals, promoting a healthier environment for both plants and wildlife.

Start your journey towards a healthier garden by mastering organic weed management with us at The Farm at Millican Reserve!
This course is discounted 50% for Individual and Family Conservancy Members! You must be signed in at time of registration to receive discount.

Summer 5K Series
Join First Light Racing at Millican Reserve for a summer of 5k races.
Race #2 is June 13th, and Race #3 June 27th
$10.00 - Get your tickets here
Mark your calendars for every other Thursday night at 7PM from May 30th to August 8th to join the fun! At the end of the summer, First Light Racing will count your 4 best finishes towards an awards party. At the party First Light Racing will hand out awards for overall points, age group, most consistent and most improved. The Summer Series finisher BBQ lunch and celebration will be held Sunday August 11th at Basecamp. More details will be sent with your registration information.
Each week your run is a $10 fee. This will include your chip timing and a finisher medal but that is it. If you pre-register for all 6 races you will receive $10 off. (This saves you on fees also)
The kids run will start at 6:45pm before the 5k. This is so we can make sure and keep an eye on all the kids as they run the course.
Fine print:
Points will be calculated on your time that week.
Age groups will be calculated on your age as of the first race.
Age groups will be every 10 years.
We will have packet pickup starting at 5:50pm until 6:50pm on race day before each race.
The start is about .4 miles from the parking area and will be marked with signs. You will receive a bib with chip that can be reused at each race. In the interest of the environment and our sustainability we would appreciate you using the same bib each race.
