Need to get help with property tax on New Home in Montgomery County. Have been to the appraisal district 3 times and sent letters back and forth to Tax Assessor but still not resolved.

I am in a similar boat. From what I am finding they are all overwhelmed helping fine folks deal with this continued insanity.
I am to the point I will spend whatever it takes to slap the county into reality.
Enough is enough.

I'm contesting several in a different county. It's not what I do on a regular basis, but I've done pretty well on them over the past few years. You might try contacting a real estate attorney in your county and ask who they would recommend you contact. Best of luck.

Thanks for the response. I contacted our attorney this morning to see if he can handle or give me a referral.
I didn't want to lawyer up but they are hard to deal with

The appraisal district just had a management change so maybe they will get it together
I'm trying to find a lawyer now so I'll pass on who I find
