i'm also curious about insurance. the seller, who is a good friend, doesn't get hurricane coverage as the house sits at ~ 59 ft above sea level but he does have windstorm/hail coverage. does this cover water damage caused by hurricane wind-damage and subsequent rain-water intrusion or damaged water pipes?

are there any other scenarios i am missing?
