Is there a good Ag who is a land man on TA? I need to work through some potential mineral estate transfers. Thanks in advance.

I would like to second this request, but for someone who can do landman work on potential ranch acquisitions from time to time.

I would post this on the Business and Investing and/or the Outdoor forum for more traffic. Also, OU, TCU and TT have the big landman programs fyi

I'm a landman and can probably help both of y'all out. Text me at (469) 665-9369 (this is a Google Voice number, so I ignore phone calls on this line).

I didn't realize you did anything but residential stuff. GTK.

I get solicited weekly it seems with mailings from guys who advertise being 'farm and ranch specialists' and when the time comes for me to let go of 150 or so acres in Fayette County I figured I'd start talking to them since apparently they've 'got potential buyers stacked up like cord wood'.

They make a big deal about coming out and taking drone pictures showing the best angles (tanks, rolling hills, etc) and really marketing things big time. I don't know if they mean it, but that's what they say.

Is that something I should include you in on, too?

And I'll add, I hope 'when the time comes' means 'not now'.

Yeah that's a common sales pitch/tactic for all brokers to say things like "I have a buyer interested in your property." It's slimy to me. Tell them to bring you a contract from a buyer and you can do a deal. 95% of the time they won't be able to.

I'd love to help you if you are looking to buy or sell land. It's actually my favorite property type out of everything I do because it's not cookie cutter. Almost anyone can broker a house in a subdivision. Land is different. It's a more difficult beast entirely. Oh and I'll even let you fly the drone if you want, ha. I let my 4 year old nephew fly it and he asks about it every time he sees me. It's cool but don't pick a broker bc of that, ha!
