A shot in the dark….Anyone have a contact for a good real estate agent in SE OK? Looking for 5 to 10 acres around Wilburton/Talihina area (Ouchitas) for recreation purposes. TIA!

No help here, but my Dad was born in Clayton and spent his early years in Talihina in the late 1920s-early 30s.

Try Bob Bowman with United Country. He's an old coworker of mine from when I worked in Wilburton who now works as a realtor. If he can't help you get something in Latimer / Leflore counties, he'll get you with someone that can.

One of my other friends in Wilburton said use Joe Mac with United Country. Do your homework on utilities and such. Also some of those areas I would call a bit questionable with respect to security. Beautiful area but lots of crime and drugs brings it down. Lived there for six years and probably ran every road in all those counties for work.
