Anyone know of a talented Short Term/Vacation Rental Property manager that handles properties anywhere within about 2 to 2.5 hours from OKC?
Possibly around Lake Eufaula, Lake Texoma....or OKC in general.
Feel free to tell me if there is a better route: I'd like to get some experience owning a vacation rental, but due to having 3 little ones and being pretty busy with the full time job, I'd like the property management to be hands-on and essentially handle everything (bookings, maintenance, utilities, etc). This would be my first investment property, so I'd feel more comfortable if the location were reasonably close.
After doing some research and talking with other property owners, it sounds like people fit into a couple camps:
1. They manage the properties themselves
2. They use a 3rd party (such as Evolve), but still need to rely on a lot of local contractors.
3. They are hands off and use an awesome property manager (Option where I'd like to start).
My long term goal is to eventually own various properties across the United States that are all short term rentals ( potentially in locations my family would enjoy visiting and at least decent investment areas), but would like to start out with something somewhat close to home.
