Who has the best rates for one-time close new constructions loans? It used to be Amegy, but I inquired and their rates are much higher than they used to be. I know that interest rates have risen but they always seemed to be way under market for this product. Any insight?

Try regions bank in Dallas. Nicole Booker. Best rate and terms I could find for a 1 time close. Signed in January for 4.375 for 30 yrs. Interest only construction is included in the 30 yrs with a 1 year max with an option to extend if needed for construction.

What percentage origination fee?
If I remember, it was 0.5%.
