Would you do it? I'm looking at a house right now that is pretty good on the inside, Amazing location, very close to a great school, next to the largest park in town, great backyard.... but... there's no front door.

Front doors are over rated.

seriously though, can you get in through garage? side of house?

I lived in a house on a corner, where virtually all guests arrived to house from the back, where driveway was, so the driveway/back entrance was used 90% of the time. People rarely parked in front of house and used the front door.

Where is the door located? If it's convenient to the driveway could be a blessing in disguise.

There is a garage that serves as the main entrance to the street.

The side opposite of the street serves as the main entrance

It's a corner lot on the southeast loop in Tyler so very very desirable location. And it's priced good. I agree front doors are overrated, kind of intrigued by the house

I probably wouldn't buy a house without a front door because I wouldn't want to deal with selling a house without a front door.

This. It also might be a bit harder to finance as it might be deemed "unique" by a lender. Unique properties can be hard to finance conventionally which potentially effects you and also might make the property less marketable down the road.

I would only purchase it with a discount already built in comparable to similar houses with a front entrance.

There's one in my town with no front door. I drive by and the doorways always open. I feel bad for the family because of all the flies getting in. If you can't afford a cheap door to fill the doorway I'm sure someone would donate one. Problem solved!

Does the floorplan allow for the installatioon of a front door where you'd normally expect to see one?

This is the first time I am hearing that a person needs a house with no front door. Often people want a house with good looking front door. The door is the first thing that every visitor notices. The buyers want a house with the entrance such that it attracts the guests.

Kinda. You would lose a room though.
