Are we the 10 seed?

Closer to the field now! Probably have to win at least 2 in Greenville depending on the second opponent.

Aggies will get the 10 seed and play Auburn. A second round matchup would be the 7 seed. There's a three way tie for 6th between Ole Miss Kentucky and Tennessee. Since they all are 1-2 against each other.

I desperately need to know who gets the 7 seed. My money is on Kentucky which wouldn't bode well for us, I rather play Ole Miss again

First round should be an easy win over Auburn. That second round game will be a do or die game for the postseason.

Somebody screwed up with the non conference schedule. Second round matchup will be the biggest game of Joni's tenure aside from the tourney game in year 2

Also haha at Coach Yo. In a couple games this year she's gone to Twitter to cry before addressing her own team… it's all she cares about. They were hosting a couple weeks ago now have fallen to a 6 seed and will be a big favorite to be upset in the tourney along with Tennessee

As of right now, they have us set to play Auburn then Georgia, both very winnable games. I like how this is shaping up.

He didn't say it that was my prediction next four out and then get a quad 1a win on the road you jump at least four and could be 6-7 place move.

We barely moved at all. We're still in the next four out. So teams 73-76. So we would have to jump those teams, jump the first four out, and jump a last four team in. That's not taking to account bid stealers which could knock even the first four in teams out of the picture. Let's get ready to watch some basketball all week long.

Our WAB may be high but part of that metric will favor the power 4 teams with those opportunities. Net will be in the high 50's. But most teams have played 30 or more games. The power 4 teams in the tournament will have at a minimum 20+ wins with the mid majors over 25+ 16 wins just doesn't look pretty. On the court we can probably beat every team on the bubble and we're honestly playing like a top 6 or 7 seed right now. But college basketball on both sides is a resume test more than an eye test like football. Unfortunately the non conference you put together in November and December matters way too much (ask men's basketball). Somebody royally messed up. Whether it was Trev not willing to pay anyone to come play us or Joni for refusing to do whatever it takes to add anyone. LSU played a trillion nobodies in non conference. There's dozens and dozens of universities a short bus ride away. We played 3 games in December. 3 games in a span of 36 days.

Beating Auburn should be easy but won't move us at all. You without a doubt have to beat Ole Miss once again to move closer to the field. Then if that were to happen it's a game against Vandy on a back to back to back. I assumed we'd move closer to the field after this win at Ole Miss, not sure why we didn't, very strange. So one win most likely wont do anything. 2 wins gets us right on the field and we'd need help around us. 3 gets us in. This feels similar to our men's team in 2022.

Again we are playing like a tournament team. And like a really good tournament team. But it's hard metrics/resume wise to reward a team who just didn't play enough games. Imagine the conversations that will start if teams want to save money, play less games, it's a bad look for the sport. Imagine if Notre Dame football decides only to play 10 games while the power 4 conference champions played 13. Let's just hope a second win at Ole Miss will be enough or that Charlie Crme is an idiot lol

The girls are on a burner. Confident and the shots are falling. The offense looks completely different and defensively we aren't picking up crazy fouls (most of the time). We have seniors on the floor and that helps! Experience matters. Joni has found her rhythm. Just makes me wonder where this has been? Stay focused. Beat Auburn first. Focus on the next one up when we are there. Proud of the turnaround. Really unfortunate that it took so long to get here, but it's been a great end to the conference season!
