There's a lot to dig into here and none of it is good. When you read that our recruiting targets don't have us listed in their top 15 or top 10 schools for example, it's not surprising but sickening none the less. This program is pretty much at rock bottom.

While trying not to complain about any of the current goings on whether on court or in recruiting, it sure would be nice if any media actually covered who were are bringing in on official visits - high schoolers and transfers. The last information like that I remember was during the Coulibaly recruitment. I know last year we had several players in on OV's that signed with top destination schools like Texas, LSU, and South Carolina that we couldn't close out. We just didn't know anything about it at the time or thereafter from any media source that they visited here.

160G isn't going to be enough NIL to get even halfway decent players to come play here. More like 160G per player. It will take 1,120G's to fill out the roster along with a couple of walkons. It can't get much worse.

Because it's gotten that bad. I can guarantee you tu, South Carolina, LSU don't HAVE to pay that much for athletes. Maybe their top target, but it falls off after that. We would need to pay 5-7 athletes $1m per year at this point to recover what has happened with Joni here. In the end, even if she had the athletes, I'm not convinced much would change.

Why would any top recruit even visit us based on the current state and outlook of our program. I know things can be turned around quicker with the portal, but doubt we are the first choice for many top transfers/recruits.
