I think interest in women's basketball, both college and professional is on the down slide. Too many prima donnas who are more interested in their hair extensions and fake eye lashes than getting sweaty and working hard. As a long time fan of women's sports, I prefer soccer, softball, golf, equestrian to basketball.

I like her highlight videos - good shot, handles the ball well, decent size, seems like a really versatile guard.

Give her some time in a college S&C program to get stronger and she will be a nice contributor.

Texas A&M University signed 6-3 forward Amirah Abdur-Rahim for the upcoming season. The Marietta (GA) native played for the last three years at Southern Methodist University. In 29 games in the USA, she recorded 11.3ppg, 6.4rpg, 1.5apg, 1.0spg, and 1.7bpg last season.
She also played at the University of Notre Dame in 2020-2021.
She graduated from Saint Francis High School in Alpharetta, GA in 2020.

Still a lot of players in the portal. I don't know if they are any better than some potential walkons from the student body, though. It's probably too late to bring in a player from the portal.

I'm just saying the losses we had, a couple had to go. Coach thought she could change her attitude, but she couldn't. She did the right thing and let them go. I expect this team to be much better than most think, but she must stop complaining about crowd size. She's got to put a good to great product on the floor to get that in WBB

We reset this year. Watch for team chemistry to improve. Hope for the NCAAs. Our league is good and most teams will get consideration for NCAAT if they just don't suck,

I did notice that UCLA's roster only has 12 scholarship players on it. Janiah is the 12th. Dont know if that is the trend or if schools just don't want marginal players taking up the scholarships. Looking at the portal, a lot of the players in it didn't find new teams to finish out their career with.
