What are the chances Janiah pulls her name out of the portal and returns here? I don't feel it's very likely but it has happened before. Was reading an article in The Eagle tonight that said one of the reason our 3 transfers came to A&M was to play alongside Barker. I remember Joni saying what a great recruiter Janiah is. So if Barker leaves, what does that mean for Ware and Coulibaly? Gosh I hope they stay! Article also said that Barker signed an NIL deal with Addidas last month. That would have to help her money situation. I just know that she and Joni go all the way back to her jr high days. I just wish she'd reconsider but maybe that ship has already sailed. Makes me sad.

Janiah is our only player in the portal who was a big contributor. The others are not a huge loss. Plus, two of them were recently arrested for weed, so it's really no surprise that they're in the portal.

Her official statement. Went from being the #1 recruit in the state to riding the bench practically all game every game. I suspected it was because of her defense but really thought we'd see her play at some point this season. You just never know what goes on behind the scenes.
