Does anyone know how to watch a game that's on SECN+ (WBB @ Lsu tonight 1/11/24). Every time I've tried to watch a SECN+ broadcast recently, the Espn site tells me that I'm not allowed to watch it because this channel is not a part of my TV package (it gives me this message without me even logging in to the espn site). SECN+ isn't a part of any TV package because it's an online broadcast only. Any advice would be appreciated.

This is not accurate. If your TV or streaming provider offers the SEC Network, you can use login credentials for those platforms to watch a SEC+ broadcast. ESPN+ is a completely different platform that requires a subscription.

ESPN likes to make things as confusing as possible.

For clarification: games can show up on ESPN+ under the following circumstances:

1. It is an SEC home game against up to one football non-conference opponent or two basketball non-conference opponents per academic year. Watching these requires either an SEC license through a cable/sat/streaming TV Provider bundle OR via an ESPN+ subscription including Disney Triple Play.

2. We are playing at a school like Big 12 or some smaller schools that primarily have conference content broadcast on ESPN+. This requires some form of ESPN+ subscription and TV Provider credentials with a SEC license won't matter.

3. We are playing at a smaller school that isn't regularly broadcast by ESPN but they buy the rights to telecast. This also requires some form of ESPN+ subscription and TV Provider credentials with a SEC license won't matter.

Hope that fills in some details that can be annoying to "catch."
