Despite the posters who regularly downplay women's basketball in particular and women's sports in general, what the above graphic shows is that even in relatively low-interest sports, a select number of schools have the best chance of success.
60 percent of the top ten schools are SEC teams. When it gets to the point in all sports that the teams best constructed for success are only SEC or Big 1G teams, with only a very small smattering of programs from other so-called "power" conferences, will college athletics "succeeded" themselves out the entertainment business?
