Welcome, Rodney Hill! Didn't see this posted anywhere else, so figured I'd bring it up. Looks like he's been a fast riser in the women's basketball system. He was at TCU last year and is now our 4th assistant coach because of the rule change! Huge bump for recruiting.

I think he's on the staff to be the 'Texas' guy, he's coached all over the state at every level and is an Aggie grad. I'm not sure how he is as a hands on coach but he coached Endyia Rogers in high school and is well respected as an up and coming coach.

Hill is now in his second stint with the Horned Frogs after serving as head coach Raegan Pebley's video coordinator during the 2015-16 season. Prior to his first stint with the Horned Frogs, Hill served as a graduate assistant coach at Urbana University in 2014-15. Hill earned his first fulltime coaching gig as an assistant coach at Texas State in 2016-17. From there, he went onto become the head junior varsity coach and varsity assistant coach at Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas from 2017-19. His next collegiate coaching stop came at Lamar, where he served as the team's recruiting coordinator from 2019-20.

For the past two seasons, Hill has served as head coach for SA Finest. He was responsible for coordination and execution of practice plans under program director Ray Caldwell and was inspirational in guiding the 2021 3SSB 17U team to a national championship.

"I am extremely humbled and grateful to be welcomed back to this prestigious university," Hill said. "Coach Pebley is one of the best coaches that I've ever been around in my career, but she's an even better person. Her willingness to serve her team and her staff is what made the decision to return a "no brainer" for me. I'm excited to partner with coach Pebley and the rest of our staff to serve this amazing university and our amazing student-athletes."
A Dallas native, Hill now resides in Fort Worth.
