I agree, very huge get. I would love to be a fly on the court this summer to see the scrimmages/workouts. The cream will rise to the top and everybody will get better. Joni has a lot to choose from, Small ball, Big ball and versatility for multiple line ups.

This is a very nice pickup. I was worried that were getting to be a little too guard heavy but she brings scoring, length, and experience at the 3/4 position. It also helps that she's familiar with the physicality of the SEC.

Having talented bigs to worry about like Janiah Barker and Lauren Ware can open up shooting lanes on the outside! Offensive rebounds should increase as well!

Bowles definitely needs to up her percentage from the 3 pt line. Im not ready to say that any freshman is instantly better than a player with a year SEC experience. The bottom line is after this summer the cream will rise to the top whoever that will be. Good to have people pushing you to be your best. Remember, everybody looks great coming out of high school. Growing pains for SEC freshmen are real. Ask Janiah or Sydney and i bet they will tell you that.

What am I missing here? According to what I saw on the Auburn site, Aicha is a 6'0" guard. Her 3-point shooting percentage is only 20%. That said I do not know what our team 3-point shooting percent last year was. If I read their site correctly, her overall shooting percentage was 41.5% so she does much better inside the 3-point line.
Don't get me wrong, I am NOT criticizing here. I just don't know enough and looking for some insight from those of you who follow this much more closely!

I detail what makes Coulibaly a great piece for us this season as she has two years of eligibility remaining in the link above. To answer your question if you avg. 16/7/2 across two season in SEC conference play everybody is going to try to snag you out of the portal. While she's listed as a guard she'll split minutes at the 3 and 4.

I do my best. Four freshmen and four transfers means the staff has a lot of work to do to make these pieces fit, but I can't wait to see what the puzzle looks like.
