Rudy, it's showing on the ESPN W B scoreboard that it starts at 1PM.

However there is an earlier game that starts at 11AM. If there is a fight in the first game it could run long and delay ours.

It also shows SECN having the game on. I find it hard to believe they would pre-empt Pawwwl NotsoFinebaum for a women's basketball?

It would be great to get another win in the tournament. We only lost by 8 the last time we played MSU and it was at their place I believe!

So: the SECN broadcasts post-season conference tournaments. It's kind of the last hurrah with some exceptions during early regional games.

The reason especially women's basketball is more important than Paul Finebaum is that it, softball, and gymnastics all have growing TV audiences. While Pawwl gets some needed R&R…

Pawl might as well be put out to pasture. Would rather see a re-run of a previous day's game.

But when the sips and Sooners come on line maybe we can watch the current games on the longhorn network.

The ACC doesn't have a pawl finebaum and makes better use of that time slot!

Personally I consider the Paul Show the Alabama Network like the Longhorn newtwork for Texas

Looking forward to this one. Gig'em!

I have a question, and I'm genuinely asking and curious as to what everyone's thoughts are. I'm 40-something years old, and one of the things that has stuck out for me in this day and age is how comfortable teens and athletes are in calling their coaches and addressing them by their first names. It's so weird to me because I was brought up to respect their positions of authority and, more importantly, as someone older, their life experience and their positions. Ex: coach Taylor, coach Blair, etc. I'm not trying to make a big deal out of this at all bc it seems like this is the new way and it seems coach Taylor is okay with being addressed as Joni by her players. BUT, I'm reminded of an interview with Dr. Maya Angelou where she admonished a young audience member that stood up and asked her a question but addressed her as Maya, instead of Ms. Angelou. She explained why it was inappropriate, etc.

ANYWAY - maybe I'm old school, but I'll continue to address her as coach Taylor and I'm older than her lol. Again, I mean no disrespect and I'm not trying to stir up any drama, but it is something I've noticed in interviews and seeing the team interact with her. AND, this doesn't just happen here. This happens all over the world and it just feels that this is how the world is changing. It's more of a peer to peer familiar relationship rather than a traditional coach/athlete relationship and that might be what she's wants.

Like I said, I'm just curious everyone's thoughts because there are probably a wide variety of ages in this forum that have different opinions on this.

I've got several years on you <GRIN> and I do the same. I think it is a sign of respect AND acknowledgment of the Coach's position. I'll continue to call Coach Taylor - Coach Taylor - and when I see Coach Blair - the same.

25-24 after 2 missed free throws, Malone gets the rebound and finds Bowles from 3! Her first make, hopefully she gets hot again!

generally speaking, i'd say it would be nice if we could make our free throws (this has driven me crazy all season); however, it's nice the trade 2 free throws for a Bowles 3!

if we scored 26/quarter I might fall over and eat my shorts.

you cannot foul someone shooting a 3. just so so so dumb. could have been a 10 point lead with an easy layup, but a brick layup and 3 made free throws puts us up 37-30 at the half. Gig'em!

Held MISSST to 5 points in the second quarter.
