Can't expect a father's support for his daughter to be objective or realistic. And that reply was from before the game.

And you can read the "not to mention" part as "if you ignore what she's doing at Texas this year ..."

Danni averaged 16.6 and 14.2 her soph and junior years for us, which was good enough to get her in the 1000 point club. But it's not WNBA level. There are too many players at her size and skill set.

She's at 10.8 for tu so far. NCAA WBB scoring leaders doesn't go that low and it lists something like 250 players.

Arizona State d Oregon State. Weird game. ASU built a big lead by the end of the third and went scoreless for more than 5 minutes in the 4th. Oregon State had a hard time scoring too, but cut the lead to single digits. ASU rallied and then Rueck got a pair of technical fouls. ASU hit 3/4 FTs.

ASU is also a 5 so they're competing with us for moving up. Projected 4 seed Marquette trails at Creighton.

Couple of upsets tonight that will have some effect on Aggie seeding in the NCAA Tourney...

#21 Ariz St beat #9 Oregon St
Unranked Creighton beat #13 Marquette
It appears that Creighton had a 20-pt lead at one point.

Good news/bad news in the Big 12 tonight.

Iowa St beat Texas 82-73. Cyclones led by 19 at the half in Austin. Always good to see the Longhorns lose but the last posted bracketology had Iowa St as a 4 seed and Texas as a 7.

I realize that Creme's Twitter projected the Aggies as a 4 seed now, but it would be nice to have a few more losses for those also just in the Top 16.

Either way of course, the Aggies need to take care of business tomorrow against arkansas.

Yup, bottom line is to control our own destiny.

I didn't watch the first half, but I was a little surprised that tu didn't come out stronger after the beatdown by Baylor, the way we did after Miss State. On Senior night too.

Iowa State tried to give it away at the end but the hole was too deep. Anyone watching film of that game is going to press the Cyclones. I didn't think Texas' press was particularly outstanding but Iowa State looked bad against it.

I don't think officiating is making them play ugly, but SEC officials are not consistent in calling from game to game. If this was UK vs the Aggies I think things that are being let go in this game would definitely be fouls.
