Stanford did not beat UNC that bad. They lost to Depaul on the road by 20...yes Pedersen did not play. They lost in OT
at UT...good team and hard place to play.

They also barely beat a good, but not great Xavier team in regional finals in Sacramento, CA
last year to get to the Final 4..actually, Xavier choked and should have won. Stanford is better this year, but there are enough examples
of getting beat that I see the Ags having a good chance to play in the finals!

The Ags vs. ND would be wild!! It could happen.
I think the ladies think they can win it all...and that is at least half the battle!

We will have to have more things go our way than Stanford...and vice versa. It is the same for most all teams at this level. No missed layups, no stupid fouls, etc. Any component of the game that fails at this level normally means defeat. Gig em, ladies, we are behind you and know that hustle and hard work will overcome some errors...you have to make your luck.

I hope Stanford is buying all the hype in their favor. I think our girls can beat anyone. We will face the same thing in the Finals against UConn, all the ESPN pundits will pick against us. I heard they tagged us as Cinderella earlier today. How can a #2 seed be considered that?

stanford has a salty team and has already beaten UConn...but I like our chances.

I said before the Baylor game, the ladies win......they did not play well the previous three games. This time they win if four of the five starters play good games, plus our reserves are way above average, Aggies win in a close one.

You must understand SIM that as a Rutgers fan, I've had to deal with UConnvict (more of a football term) for way too long...RU has had its brief moments, but all-in-all, it has been rather lopsided!

Sadly, even ESPN, the "home" of the women's tourney does nothing more than gloss over it...it is getting better with time, but still

Most people who report on CBB (bilas, gotlieb, davis, coach slick-hair, and the most annoying of all, vitale) have ZERO knowledge of the three other FF teams not resident in new england...really pathetic!

It will be tough, but after watching them dominate Baylor and shut down Griner - I believe this team can not just beat Stanford but win it all
