Did not notice until re-watching the game end. With BU down 9 and ball, after we knock it out on their baseline.

MJ is inbounding and having trouble. Sydney Col has her back to her man on the 3pt line and gets caught up watching Griner in the paint. Her man runs right by and is wide open under the basket for an easy layup that would have made it 7pt game with about 2.5 minutes left.

Instead, MJ misses her and throws it over the top back to 3pt land. SC gets back on her man, then seconds later tips the ball to start her 3pt play that clenched the game.

A lot of lessons in those few seconds!!

I suggest posting this on the Baylor fans website, then sit back and enjoy the fun.

You mean a lesson like "Make the most of your second chances?" I would say Sidney did that very well!

Before that bu regional finals game, I posted here that I hoped Syd Colson would make the game winning shot or game winning assist...Simmie saw that and of course approved big time....guess what, I think that steal and 3 point play was it!

I think that sealed the deal, totally deflated bu and their fans and basically put the game on ice!
It was like the cherry on top of a Sundae...the perfect finishing touch!

Another great example of keep playing...play the next play hard and see what happens!!
