Any trusted contacts or resources that would do a flat fee valuation of a small business?

I'm not sure of the multiples of recent transactions in this industry. Also it's only a minority portion of a business so I would think there are other dynamics that should be in the valuation like true valuation * 1/3 * minority share discount. Would be buy side perspective if it matters (buying out minority partner).

Some of the brokers on here might have some people.

Once you get this done, make sure you set up an operating agreement with buy-sell arrangements laid out in advance. Business prenup. Revisit it once a year to make sure that the methods you chose still make sense for the reality of the business.

Unfortunately I have some horror stories of friends who didn't do this and have found themselves trapped in very toxic partnerships with few ways out.

We do valuations on +100 small businesses a year in Texas.
