Looking to have a brief chat with a trademark lawyer about an idea I have. Need to know next steps to investigate whether or not the idea is unique enough from something else that is trademarked.

You might want to post a little bit about your idea to give a background. Not sure if trademark is the proper vehicle vs. patent, etc...

Anyway, google an intellectual property firm in a big city near you. There are probably no IP lawyers in rural areas. They will be at a big firm in a large city.
