So I currently work for in the EU as a mid level exec, and have a nice standard of living where I'm at. I recently had a large CN company reach out for me to go work for them at a higher level and the pay is likely double my salary. Question to others, is it worth it? I have now eu citizenship, and I may not have to move my family. Curious what others think, and if the salary is worth it. My main concern is clearly is working for a CN leader trying scale in EU. Curious if any other expats have either dealt with this and how it faired.

Apples to oranges, but I worked for a US Company on a 2 year expat assignment in China, and it was a great experience both culturally and financially.

If I were in your shoes I might consider it if I was at the end of my career and could retire after a year if it didn't work out.

I'm trying to be helpful here so I'll say it again: scrub your posts. Your circumstance is such where you probably wouldn't be hard to identify if somebody from either company happened to come across this and you've even got income indicators in this thread.
