Things like Morningstar or CFRA? I see some of these names when I am doing research and they tend to show up over and over with "hold" or "buy," etc.

Not sure about trust, but I use them as one piece of the buy question puzzle. They are directional indicators.

Agree with YouBet. You also have to be aware of how old the rating is. I don't pay much attention to them for that reason.
