I currently own and operate a small equipment sales (tractors, skid steers etc) as well as a separate residential concrete work business. I am on Google for the concrete business and primarily drum up business and sales for both using Facebook (95% FB marketplace and in groups).

I am looking to continue to scale my businesses and feel like there's more I can do to drum up business and equipment sales but not sure how to optimize my online presence and strike the right algorithms, at times it feels like some posts I make are wildly more popular than others but have no idea why. I have started to sell equipment nationwide using hauling brokers and would love to continue doing that and scale. Also, in the near future will be adding a land development business to the mix.

Looking for recommendations for good social media and marketing companies that may be able to help me navigate online presence and beat the algorithms, that have a proven track record.

I have used "Fiver" at times which is a portal for virtual assistants which has been great for making logos and stuff like that but think it could be beneficial to have someone local or at least in the USA helping me with
this.

I would also be interested in hearing from others experience with hiring marketing assistants for similar types of business or primarily social media driven business. Is it worth it or effective?

We handle Mahindra Tractors and other B2B accounts. Our head of media is top notch. We'll be back in the office 1/2.

Make sure you have a clear understanding of what you're trying to do.

Sounds like you've had some success which is a great place to start. Seek help building on what's working. The more specific you can get, the better help you'll be able to find.

"I'm currently getting 10 leads a week from Facebook and I want 20" is a recipe for success.

"I want help with social media" is a recipe for burning money.

Speaking from the pain of experience. Get clear on what you're trying to do.

All good. Was going to point you in the direction of a few people. I work in the insurance industry so I try to keep a few people in each industry on speed dial to help my clients with whatever.

I agree with the above poster, understand what you are wanting out of marketing. Also, if you increase marketing to drive inbound leads make sure you have the capacity to handle the leads.

As far as what I am looking for specifically:

I am looking to expand my presence nationwide and would love to do that more. I sent a tractor to Northern California from DFW a couple of months ago. This opens up my customer pool 100x. On marketplace its a max 250 mile radius as far as who can see my stuff so looking for someone to help me advertise nationwide and instill confidence in a buyer purchasing sight unseen from a distance. Also want to bring in more local leads as well. I would say during the "hot" season I can do 10 units sold a month, thats probably on about 30 leads. Would love to double that.

December-March is the slower season so trying to take advantage of the downtime to start marketing like crazy.
